LIVE PERFORMANCE
PLANTATION, FL 33317

The Academy’s children violinists received an enthusiastic reception from the audience attending their Thursday, December 6, holiday concert performance at the City of Plantation, Historical Museum for this year’s Winter Wonderland event. The Academy’s children violinists, ages 4 – 15 years old, performed traditional holiday music along with classic favorites by Handel, Bach, and Beethoven.

The Academy’s celebrated children musicians have been featured in newspaper and magazine articles, appeared on television, and have delighted audiences at music, film, and arts festivals, and in concert halls throughout South Florida. They have been performed at “Plantation Art in the Park” and, each year, provide music for the Helen B. Hoffman Children’s Library ‘Teddy Bears Picnic”. They visit the library’s “Story Time” program throughout the year to give “Violin Kids Play for Kids” presentations that provide toddlers and preschoolers with an introduction to the world of classical music.

Winter Wonderland at the Plantation Historical Museum has become a tradition for South Florida families,  features displays of splendidly decorated holiday-themed trees, animated figures, exhibits of historical artifacts with a featuring archival artifacts from Plantation and continues through Saturday, January 5, 2019.
