Seeking two Suzuki Violin Teachers

Start dates: January 2008 and July 2008

Location: Chapel Hill, NC

Description: The Suzuki Academy offers violin lessons and early childhood music. Our goal is to create a vibrant arts/learning community. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Duties: Teach individual and group lessons; participate in school/community events (e.g. workshops, concerts).

Qualifications: Seeking an excellent violinist and creative educator committed to: the Suzuki philosophy; careful observation - appreciative of and amazed by the vast capabilities of children; reflection on teaching observations and insights; professional and pedagogical development; and creating strong relationships with students, families, colleagues and the community based on respect and the joy of learning.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
